To the Jersey Shore School District community,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! Our staff have been working hard all summer to prepare for students to return. Make sure that you visit our website for Back-to-School information, including setting up a parent account to our new Student Information System, Sapphire.

This summer we completed several projects:

1. Refinished the High School auditorium stage

2. Refinished the Middle School auditorium stage

3. Installed new flooring in the High School library, CTE Health Science classroom and lab, and the Middle School gym

4. Repainted the Middle School gym

5. Installed new back boards and baskets in the Middle School gym

6. Replaced ceiling tile in the Middle School hallways

7. Added an outdoor classroom pavilion at Jersey Shore Elementary that was funded by the Jersey Shore Education Foundation

As we begin the new school year, the administrative team has worked with the Board to put policy in place to govern the use of AI. Also, there were changes to PA School code in the annual budget bill. Those items are updated as appropriate in the student handbooks. Please take time to read them. If you have questions, you can reach out to your child’s school principal. During the school year, if you have a concern, please use the Handling a Concern chart so that you can address concerns to the correct place.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday, August 20th. Remember that the district will be closed on September 4th and 7th for the holiday weekend.
