To the Jersey Shore School District community,

Throughout this school year, I have challenged teachers to think purposefully about student instruction.  One of the basic things that I asked them to do is to make sure that students are able to clearly articulate what they are learning.  I am sharing this with parents and guardians so that you can help us with this – ask your students about their learning daily.

As we near the end of the first marking period, please continue to check in on the progress of your children. Parent-Teacher conferences will take place on November 23rd and 24th.  Watch for communications from the school buildings and classroom teachers to set up conferences. Remember that report cards will be provided electronically through our parent portal. 

Remember that students will not have school on Friday, October 9^th and Monday, October 12^th.

We will dismiss 2 hours early on October 30^th.
