The Jersey Shore Area Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to welcome all new and returning students and families to the 2016-2017 school year. The JSAE PTO is an independent organization made up of parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff who support and enhance the educational experiences of the school’s students by: 1.  Providing an organization through which the parents, school, and teachers can work cooperatively; and 2.  Providing financial support for programs funded outside of the annual school budget. JSAE PTO raises money through several fundraisers throughout the year.  These funds are used for programs, events, and items that directly benefit the students of the school; with the exception of showing our JSAE staff our appreciation by serving them a luncheon and breakfast. Jersey Shore Area Elementary PTO – Membership If you are interested in becoming a member of the JSAE PTO, please fill out the PTO Membership form.  In order to become a member you must be a parent or guardian of a student at JSAE, the Principal/Assistant Principal, or any teacher currently employed at JSAE.  The cost is only $1.00 for one parent or one staff member or $2.00 for both parents.  Joining JSAE PTO does not “sign you up” for anything but your membership alone will give us a BIGGER voice in our school and community.  Budget, programs, school events, and volunteer opportunities will be discussed at monthly meetings.  We would love for you to join us at our next monthly meeting and learn about all the awesome things JSAE PTO has to offer and listen to our Principal, Mr. Keith Veldhuis or Assistant Principal, Mrs. Adrienne Johnston as he or she shares important information about what is happening in our school.
