Changes to Shared Food Procedures

As the Jersey Shore School District continues to provide a safe and healthy environment for students. All food that will be shared with or given to students must be arranged through The Nutrition Group.

The Nutrition Group is the food service provider for the district and a menu of the items they offer can be found on our website. From our main webpage, www.jsasd.org, on the top right-hand side choose the Lunches page. This page includes current menus, the party order form, and other useful information regarding the district’s food service program. While the party form has prices listed, you will need to contact the Food Service Director of The Nutrition Group for prices on any catering options. The contact information is listed on the Food Service webpage.

The schools will no longer be able to allow any food to be brought in that will be shared among students. This will not impact students who bring in their own packed lunch or their own individual snacks as those are not items that are to be shared with other students. If you have any questions regarding this change in procedure, please contact your building administrator.
