The Jersey Shore School District values the contributions made by the volunteers in our schools. 
State law requires that volunteers must obtain background clearances.  This impacts many of our volunteers.  To better understand the laws and policies that govern volunteers, click on the links provided on the left part of the screen.  School Board Policy may be more restrictive than the law, but cannot be more lenient than the law.
