Hello Jersey Shore Community,
As we begin the month of March, it feels like the end of the school year is coming quickly. Remember that PSSAs for students in grades 3-8 are right around the corner. Encourage them to be at their best.
One of the signals that the end of the school year is fast approaching is retirement notices. The district has received several retirement letters from valued staff throughout the district. As we recognize them at Board meetings, please thank these staff members for their service to our children.
Looking forward to 2025/2026
- Applications are now being accepted for pre-K counts.
- Kindergarten registration for next year is still open. All registrations will be accessible online via the district website. If you do not have access to a computer, please call (570) 398-5253 to schedule an appointment.
Musical productions
- Jersey Shore Area Middle School presents HONK! JR. on March 6 & 7 at 7:00 PM at the Jersey Shore Area Middle School.
- Jersey Shore Area High School proudly presents Mary Poppins! March 14 and 15 at 7:00pm. March 16 at 2:00pm.
The district will have a 2-hour early dismissal on Friday, March 28th for the end of Marking Period 3. The district will be closed on Monday, March 31st.
