Hello Jersey Shore Community,

As we enter the Holiday season, please note events on our district calendar. Specifically, our winter concert series

District Winter Concert Events:
– December 9, 2025 from 7-8PM-6th Grade Winter Concert 
– December 11, 2025 from 7-8PM-7/8th Grade Winter Concert
– December 18, 2025 from 7-8PM-HS Winter Concert

School Code Changes
There are changes coming from the passing of new PA School Code language. Here are some highlights:

1. Starting in the 2026-2027 school year, students will be required to complete a FAFSA form or an exemption form prior to completing high school.
2. The district will be required to report truancy to the PA Department of Education and this data will be posted publicly by the Department.
3. Cyber charter students will be required to verify residency twice annually.
4. Our 3-day and 6-day letters will be updated to reflect that fact that Habitually Truant students will be barred from transferring to cyber charter.

Schedule Reminders

Remember, Parent-Teacher conference days are scheduled for November 24^th and November 25^th and students will not have school.  If you have academic concerns about your student, please contact your child’s teacher.

The district will be closed on November 26^th, 27^th, 28^th and December 1^st.  The district will be dismissing early on December 19^th and will be closed to students until we return on January 5^th.
