Hello Jersey Shore Community,

In Kindergarten, I learned that March comes in like a Lion and goes out like a Lamb, so I hope that the sunshine and warmer days are all ahead of us!

Kindergarten Registration
Don’t forget to register students for kindergarten. Appointments are required. Call 570-398-5253 to schedule an appointment. Please share this information with anyone who may have a child who can start kindergarten in the Fall.

2026-2027 School Calendar
The Board recently approve next year’s school calendar. It can be found on the district website.

District Comprehensive Plan
Dr. Osenbach presented the next 3-year plan at the February 23rd Board of Directors meeting. It is now on public display until approval at the March 23rd meeting. If you have feedback after reading through the plan, please contact Dr. Osenbach.

Please note that all buildings were outfitted with water bottle filling stations using Covid funding for hygiene purposes. We encourage parents to send students to school with a water bottle to use.

The district will dismiss 2 hours early on Friday, March 27th for the end of Marking Period 3. The district will be closed April 2nd, 3rd, 6th and 7th.
