Students in the entrepreneurship CTE program perform development, marketing, and management functions associated with owning and operating a business. Entrepreneurship concepts are integrated into courses within the pathway of study to combine the business skills necessary to become a successful businessperson in today’s world

Program Requirements

  • Enroll full-time with 3.0 credits for 3 years starting in Grade 10 
  • Complete the approved Scope and Sequence of Courses
  • Complete OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification 
  • Take the End-of-Program Assessment – NOCTI Exam 
  • Join and actively participate in FBLA

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is an educational association of student members preparing for careers in business or who are just simply interested in learning more about the free enterprise system.    FBLA provides innovative leadership development programs to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship.  Participation in FBLA can have a direct impact on the direction and success of a young person’s career.   Millions of students have learned through active membership in FBLA about the world of business and what is expected of them in the workplace.  Organizational goals include:

    • Develop competent, aggressive business leadership
    • Strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work
    • Create more interest in and understanding of American business enterprise
