Student Parking Information

Student Parking Brochure

Parking personal vehicles at Jersey Shore Area Senior High School is a privilege for licensed drivers who are enrolled at the school.

Beginning this school year (2023-24) permitted/reserved parking spaces are available in the paved lot in front of the school in Tier 2 and Tier 3. The cost for a reserved parking space is $20. Students must accurately complete the Parking Application available through the PowerApp on the iPad. The application is released after the start of the school year.

Students spaces are numbered. The number on the pass provided to the student after submission and approval of the application corresponds to the space assigned. Students in the front lot may select their space. Prior to obtaining a permit, student drivers must show their license.

For those students who do not wish to purchase a reserved parking space, non-permitted parking is available at the track and lot behind the high school.
Further regulations for parking can be found in the student handbook and are also included in the Student Parking Brochure.

Be aware that students who demonstrate unsafe driving, violate parking regulations, or otherwise do not abide by the driving regulations shall be subject to the following:
First Offense: Permit suspended for twenty (20) school days.
Second Offense: Permit suspended for forty-five (45) school days.
Third Offense: Permit suspended for the remainder of the school year.

Students who park in the front lot without a pass will be ticketed. Accumulation of excessive tickets will result in towing of the owner’s vehicle at the expense of the owner.
