NOTICE OF
APPROVAL AND AWARD OF GUARANTEED ENERGY SERVICES AGREEMENT
BY THE JERSEY SHORE AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given pursuant to provisions of the Pennsylvania Public School
Code of 1949, as amended, Pennsylvania Sunshine Act of 1986, July 3, P.L. 388
No. 84, as amended, and Guaranteed Energy Savings Projects, Act 57 of 1998,
Act 77 of 2004, Act 39 of and Act 163 of 2016 in Title 62, Chapter 37, Subchapter
E, that the Board of School Directors of the Jersey Shore Area School District
will at a meeting of the Board of School Directors to be held on March 14, 2022
at 7:00 p.m. in the District Administration Building Board Room at 175 A&P
Drive, Jersey Shore, PA 17740, to take action to approve and accept an
Amendment to the Initial Guaranteed Energy Services Agreement from
Reynolds Energy Services, Inc. D/B/A SitelogIQ Energy Services (“Reynolds”).
Scopes of Work in the Amendment to be presented include labor to install prepurchased
equipment including but not limited to boilers, air-handling units,
rooftop units, unit ventilators, and exhaust fans in the High School and Middle
School. Ancillary architectural work to complete these installations will also be
included in the Amendment proposed. The Amendment Proposal to be
considered by the Board and the Amendment to the Initial Agreement between
Reynolds and the Board provides that the cost of the work shall not exceed
$2,000,000. Funding from American Recovery Plan (ARP)/Elementary and
Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) programs will be used in whole or
part for this work. Members of the public are invited to attend and participate
in the Board Meeting as permitted by law.
