Hello Jersey Shore Community,
This afternoon, I am writing this letter as the sun shines through my window and athletic fields are being prepped for the Spring season. A lot happens in a school district throughout the Spring, so please pay attention to our website, social media and school communications. Even though we are entering the season of state testing, it is a time for celebration that will include field trips, spring concerts, parent programs and ultimately graduation.
Open Positions
A major part of the Spring season is the planning that begins for the next school year. We posted multiple staff positions this week in preparation to replace people who are retiring. Please visit our human resources page on the website, look for the advertisement in the newspaper and share it with anyone who may be interested.
Capital Projects
The District Board of Directors is set to award bids at the next meeting for upgrades to High School and Middle School HVAC. Much of the project is paid for using Covid grant funds.

April 22nd and 23rd – JSASD will host the PMEA District 8 Jazz Festival
April 25th – 29th – English/Language Arts PSSA Exams
