Avis PTO

Meetings:
Please join us the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm.
Meetings are held in the Avis Elementary library and are open to all parents of Avis students.  The PTO is always looking for new and fresh ideas, so please join us.


Volunteers…
are always welcome.  If you did not turn in a volunteer form at the beginning of the school year and would like to help out with school store or other special events, please email the PTO at AvisPTO@gmail.com


PTO Membership: 
We encourage all parents and grandparents of Avis students to join.  Membership forms have been sent home with students. Please let us know if you did not receive a form. $5 donation per person.

Fundraisers: 
Fundraisers are crucial for the PTO to continue its activities for our students.  Below is a list of fundraisers we will have this school year. 

  • School store – 3rd Friday of every month, 7:00-7:40am

  • Popcorn Day – 2nd Thursday of every month

  • Book Fair

  • Pumpkin Decorate Contest

  • Walk-a-Thon

  • Square 1 Art

  • Marianna’s

  • Santa’s Workshop

  • Anything but a backpack 


Where does all this money go?

The PTO provides money for field trips, holiday parties, classroom teachers,  the end of the year picnic and countless other projects around our school.  Like all of us, costs are rising for the PTO.  The more money we raise through our fundraisers, the more opportunities we can provide to our students.
